Based on the original family reserve created by Don Facundo BACARD Reserva Ocho Rum is aged for a minimum of 8 years in American White Oak barrels under the Caribbean sun and filtered through charcoal for a smooth finish. The longer aging brings out the complexity of flavors from the barrel giving it a rich body and velvety smoothness. Rich gold in appearance BACARD Reserva Ocho Rum has warming notes of wood apricot nutmeg & butterscotch. Great in an Old Fashioned or neat on its own.
